Memorial Day at Sandy Neck Beach (Part Deux)

I was perfectly happy living with The TinCanSailors. But then I saw the seagulls, terns, and plovers frolicking in the surf and thought, "Hey! They kind of look like me!" But they weren't like me at all. The seagulls were rather mean. They picked on me for being pink, and said it was a silly color. The terns seemed afraid and flew away. The plovers... oh, well, the plovers were only interested in doing things I had only seen on National Geographic. (Naughty, naughty!) Then I saw these two beautiful birds... just as colorful, if not more, than I. Even though they were parrots, and I, a flamingo, they invited me to join them, and I was tickled pink! With Ron & Toni's blessings, and promises to keep in touch, we said our tearful goodbyes, and off I went, for adventures with Arnold & Jack. : )

Here I am with Toni, Ron & Kevin. Happy times!

La-la-la-la-la-la. I love Sandy Neck!

My new friends, Arnold & Jack.
